Aluminium 7075 Forgings are composed primarily of 87.1-91.4% aluminium, with key alloying elements including 5.1-6.1% zinc, 2.1-2.9% magnesium, 1.2-1.8% copper, and smaller amounts of chromium, silicon, and manganese. This composition grants the alloy excellent strength, fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance. Aluminium 7075 has a tensile strength of up to 572 MPa, a yield strength of 503 MPa, and elongation of 11-14%.
