Aluminium 3003 Square Bars are composed primarily of aluminium (98.6%), with manganese (1.0-1.5%) and small amounts of copper (0.05-0.20%) for added strength and corrosion resistance. This alloy has excellent mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of 130-200 MPa and a yield strength of 40-120 MPa, depending on temper. The elongation at break ranges from 10-30%, indicating good formability. Its Brinell hardness is around 35 HB, making it suitable for applications requiring moderate strength and corrosion resistance. Lightweight and durable, 3003 alloy bars are ideal for construction, roofing, and chemical equipment.
