Aluminium 3003 is an aluminium-manganese alloy that contains about 1.0–1.5% manganese, along with small amounts of copper (up to 0.2%) and trace elements, with the remainder being aluminium. This alloy is non-heat-treatable and gains strength through cold working. Aluminium 3003 Flat Bars provide moderate tensile strength, typically around 110–130 MPa, with a yield strength close to 35–55 MPa. The alloy is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, and elongation of 10–25%, making it easy to form, machine, and weld.
